Ok so I bought this for my gen 3 Tacoma thinking it would add clearance to the back for off-roading. This part was a success because it ends before where the spare tire used to hang and right before the back axle. There is the pro.The cons are the noise, which it does say is extreme on the packaging and description so I knew what I was getting into a little. From 0-1700 rpm your Tacoma will sound like a v8, deep rumbles and pretty cool. 1800-2500 your head will begin to vibrate and you cannot hear yourself think in the cab of the truck, from 2500-3000 it goes full rice rocket soda can on you and above 3000, it goes to a quiet hum. I feel a little lag on acceleration on the low end but I am a lead foot so most of you will not notice. I will lastly add that my teenage son and all of his friends absolutely love it but as an older guy, it is not for me so that part is definitely relative to whether or not this is for you.
