I absolutely love this set! The candles are magical. The flicker is very life-like.Here are my favorite features in more detail:- The flicker is very life like- it you can turn the candle just by little and it changes the feel so you can decide how to angle it towards the front and how it feels.- The flicker is very real looking and feeling from the distance you have total illusion that this is a real candle.- You don't have to worry about turning it off! While you can turn it on and off manually on the bottom of the candle, and you can turn it on or off from the remote with one button, you can also use one of the timers and set it for x amount of time and it will turn off by itself..- The timers: there are four of them! So easy to operate: The small remote has four timer buttons. Once ou turn the candles on, just press whichever number of hours you wish it to stay on and it will blink once to let you know it accepted your "command" and it just keep staying on till that amount of time passes and then turns itself off. If you make a mistake or change mind on how many hours you wish to keep it on what I do is just turn it off and turn on and then pick the new time. Maybe there is simpler step but I think it works for me as I simply turn off and cancel the past command and when turn on it is a blank slate.- I love the fact that it has manual switch on off on the bottom. I had some devices in the past, even some TV's that would not have on off or any other buttons, so the only way to turn on , of or adjust volume or channels was via remote. That was bad because once you misplace remote or dog will eat it :) or burry in the yard, you are done. Either buy a new remote or TV.. so this candle has on off button on the bottom that fix the back up situation. You can use just that button if you wish but remote is really adorable.- Adorable remote control - yes, totally adorable. It is small but cute and mighty. It has man functions on it and it is surprisingly functional, operational and amazing. Here is what you can do with itREMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS:- ON/OFF- Eight DIFFERENT TIMERS 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours- TWO LEVELS OF BRIGHTNESS.. more bright, less bright by the use of Dim button- FLICKER light/ or STEADY light - this is fantastic. Sometimes I want to use it just as a little ambient light steady on when I watch TV and such and flicker annoys me then, other times when I want to add life to the room I LOVE my flicker on and I keep it on then. Having on off flicker option is amazing because it allows you to choose which mood you want to project and support.I really can not praise enough this set. It is fabulous. It is great mood enhancer and just wonderful decor item.It is made of red plastic that does look like glass so unless you know it is plastic by touching, or knocking on it, you will be totally fooled that it is glass. Very convincing look. The same about the light. it does look and feel like real glass candle with real live fire light in it.The remote works for both candles. If you want to have only one on, you need to turn one off manually so it does not respond to the remote commands. I think it would be great to have an option either to buy set with two remotes or have an option by the seller to buy additional remote for small extra fee.In any case, this set is fabulous. They are selling also different colors of these sets. I bught also the brown set but I returned it. I do like the red better for the warmth I was looking for but the brown did look just as nice in person if you are looking to match your color scheme you got options.I am very happy with this set and it exceeded my expectations i so many ways!ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!These are fabulous candles! I love them timer feature, and it has options! They give a lovely glow either by themselves or with use of other candles or light when using the dining room table. The remote is a nice touch. I can adjust from my recliner if I so choose. The wiggly "wicks" give that extra candle boost! Wish they came in colors, as I like to adjust to season or holiday. They're great!I have these candles on shelves in my bedroomThey turn on and off every time like they are supposed to. Very easy. Would buy more if neededI ordered one set and was so impressed that I ordered another set !This is a very nice flickering flame candle. I thought it would be more sturdy and firm but it's not. You have to be careful not to push the back battery cover to hard when closing it or it will push in. Other than that, it is a nice decorative item that stands out in my living room.Everyone sees this thinks there real a girl even told me be careful that I don’t tip them over and start a fire I had to say there flamless nor real I will buy more from this company so real looking and great price $17 and change for 2Great buy!Great mood lights.
